Jersey Invasion

Emma met two of her cousins from the great state of New Jersey this weekend! Austin and Jill made the long drive down 81 to meet the newest member of the family! We had a great visit, and only wish there had been more time! Jill - being the teacher and kid lover that she is - brought Emma some neat gifts - as usual! Before Emma was born, Jill was already bringing her thoughtful presents. This time, a book about New Jersey for starters. G is for Garden State. This was so Emma could learn about where her yankee family was from!! She also received a set of board books that have paintings from Degas and Monet to name a few. These are the neatest. There is a cute rhyming story within the pages of these books, along with the artist's famous works. Little Emma is going to be so smart!!! Jilly also bought her a DVD called Classical Baby Dance and some accompanying socks that look like ballet shoes in multiple colors (cute cute cute)! We haven't watched the DVD yet, but I cannot wait. It has choreography inspired from Balanchine and Martha Graham among others! Thank you Jilly! It was so nice to see our cousins and spend some quality time with you. Hope to see you again real soon!!

We had such a wonderful time! I cherished every second that I held (hogged) Emma! Thank you for letting us be a part of your little girl's life!

P.S. My mom and dad saw pictures of Austin holding her, and they keep saying "You look like such a natural." Haha...if they only could see how nervous he was!
