and visions of sugar plums danced in her head..
Emma's fussy time is in the evening. By this time of day, she is super tired (since she doesn't like naps) and refuses to let herself fall asleep. This equals an unhappy baby. In an attempt to not lose our minds and soothe a crying baby, we placed Emma in her swing. She usually does not like the swing, or anything else she has to be strapped in to, but on this particular evening, something seemed right about it for her! So Dusty pulled out all the stops. He strapped her in, turned the vibration on the seat, set the swing, and turned on the music. Probably a little too much, but he was desparate. She cried for a second and then stopped, just staring up at the mobile, listening intently to the music, as if she had heard it many times befoe. The music was none other than the sugar plum solo. That's my little ballerina!

Melissa and Dusty,
I am so happy that your Emma is brining you so much joy. Let us know when you are ready for a visit. Lots of love,
Vivian
Love your little ballerina! Its so great how she already uses her beautiful little legs and feet. I cant wait to see how she uses them in the future!
Seriously... AS IF she has not heard that millions of times before!! She probably knows the song from beginning to end by heart!!!
We are coming to see you soon.. I promise!
